MARLIN TRADING COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Eligible Requirements

1. Traders must possess a valid Binance.com or KuCoin account.
2. Traders are required to connect their Binance.com or KuCoin API Key (Read-only) on Alpha Impact to enable the platform to monitor their trades.
3. Traders must maintain a monetized profile for other users to subscribe on Alpha Impact through Binance.com or KuCoin.
4. KYC (Know Your Customer) verification may be necessary if suspicious activity is detected.

1. An eligible account must be linked with a valid Telegram account.
2. Subscribers may choose to subscribe to SPOT traders, FUTURES traders, or both, provided they have sufficient FOLO.
3. Following a trader is distinct from subscribing; individuals who only follow traders are not considered eligible subscribers.
4. Subscribers are deemed eligible only when their Telegram accounts are linked prior to subscription and remain linked until the results are released.
5. KYC verification may be required if suspicious activity is detected.

What To Win?

Base Prize Setting:

1. Trader winners will receive an Alpha Impact Verified Trader’s Badge for 6 Months and 100 USDT each.
2. All subscriber winners will be awarded 2,500 FOLO each, and 6 subscribers will be randomly chosen to receive $30 USDT each.

1. As the number of participants among total subscribers increases:

• When the total number of subscribers reaches 100, an additional lucky draw will be conducted, with a prize of $30 USDT each for 3 active users randomly selected from the pool.
• When the total number of subscribers reaches 200, an additional lucky draw will be conducted, with a prize of $30 USDT each for 6 active users randomly selected from the pool.
• When the total number of subscribers reaches 300, an additional lucky draw will be conducted, with a prize of $30 USDT each for 9 active users randomly selected from the pool.
• This pattern continues, with the maximum bonus pool capped at $630 USDT.
• This bonus scheme rewards our active users who frequently log into our app and engage by posting and commenting on our Home Feed.

Who Will Win?

1. One [SPOT] trader and one [FUTURES] trader will emerge victorious.
2. Only traders who monetize their portfolios are eligible for victory.

1. Participants who subscribe to one [SPOT] trader and one [FUTURES] trader as mentioned will each receive 2,500 FOLO. Additionally, a lucky draw will be held to select six of these subscribers, each of whom will be awarded $30 USDT.

Traders’ Performance Calculation:

1. Performance evaluation will take place from [March 17, 2024, 00:00:00 UTC] to [March 31, 2024, 23:59:59 UTC].
2. All participating traders’ portfolios will start with a 0% return rate. The Marlin Competition leaderboard monitors competition-specific performance data.
3. Performance updates daily, reflecting the previous day’s data. For instance, on March 19th, performance reflects data from March 18th to March 19th.

Timeline and Result Announcement:

1. Subscribing Period: March 14, 2024, 00:00:00 UTC – March 22, 2024, 23:59:59 UTC
2. Trading Period: March 17, 2024, 00:00:00 UTC – March 31, 2024, 23:59:59 UTC
3. Result Announcement: April 2, 2024, 4:00:00 UTC

Winners Notification:

1. Winners will be visible on the leaderboard on the Alpha Impact platform.
2. Rewards will be distributed two weeks after the competition ends, inclusive of the transfer fee, and will be facilitated by Alpha Impact.
3. Winners must provide their Alpha Impact ID to redeem the prize either through the Official Alpha Impact Telegram group [Alpha Impact ] or by emailing team@alphaimpact.fi.

Legal Requirements:

1. Participants must ensure that their country of residence permits cryptocurrency trading and participation in such competitions. Alpha Impact shall not be responsible for any legal implications arising from participation in jurisdictions where cryptocurrency trading is prohibited.
2. It is the responsibility of participants to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations concerning cryptocurrency trading, including but not limited to tax obligations.
3. Participants must confirm that they are not residents of countries where Binance.com or KuCoin services are restricted or banned. Alpha Impact reserves the right to disqualify participants from such jurisdictions.
4. Alpha Impact does not endorse or encourage participation in cryptocurrency trading in jurisdictions where it is prohibited. Participants are advised to consult legal experts in their respective countries for guidance on cryptocurrency regulations.

Alpha Impact’s Reserved Rights in the Competition

1. Right to Modify or Cancel: Alpha Impact reserves the right to modify, extend, or cancel the competition at any time without prior notice. This includes changes to eligibility criteria, prize structures, and competition timelines.
2. Disqualification of Participants: Alpha Impact reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to be engaging in fraudulent, abusive, or manipulative behavior, as determined by Alpha Impact in its sole discretion. This includes but is not limited to the use of multiple accounts, unauthorized use of trading platforms, and attempts to manipulate trading results.
3. Limitation of Liability: Alpha Impact shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or injuries arising from participation in the competition, including but not limited to loss of funds, loss of profits, or personal injury. Participants agree to participate at their own risk.
4. Intellectual Property Rights: By participating in the competition, participants grant Alpha Impact the right to use their name, likeness, and trading results for promotional purposes without further compensation. Participants retain ownership of their original content and trading strategies.
5. Indemnification: Participants agree to indemnify and hold Alpha Impact harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from their participation in the competition, including but not limited to claims of copyright infringement, fraud, or breach of contract.
6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [insert relevant jurisdiction]. Any disputes arising from or related to the competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in [insert relevant jurisdiction].
7. No Endorsement: Participation in the competition does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation by Alpha Impact of any particular trading strategy, product, or service. Participants are solely responsible for their own trading decisions.
8. Data Privacy: Alpha Impact will collect and process personal data provided by participants in accordance with its Privacy Policy. By participating in the competition, participants consent to the collection, processing, and use of their personal data for the purposes of administering the competition and awarding prizes.
9. Force Majeure: Alpha Impact shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations under these terms and conditions resulting from acts of God, natural disasters, government actions, or other events beyond its reasonable control.
10. Severability: If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
