FOLO Tokens vs FOLO Points

FOLO Tokens are like digital coins you can buy and sell on the platform. You can use a digital wallet called MetaMask to purchase and deposit FOLO into your in-app Alpha Impact wallet.

• FOLO can be purchased on Ethereum Mainnet (ERC20) and FOLO (PoS)* for Polygon (PoS). Check out our guides on how to purchase and deposit FOLO to learn more!
• *As of 4 Sep 2024, POL has replaced MATIC as the native gas and staking token for Polygon PoS. Both MATIC and POL refer to the same thing.

FOLO Points are rewards you earn in-app for being an active trader on the platform. Convert them to FOLO Balance (10:1) for withdrawal.

1. Are FOLO Points the same as FOLO Balance?

• No. FOLO Points are our in-app reward system, while FOLO Balance represents how much FOLO Points can be cashed out for.

2. Can I withdraw FOLO Points directly?

• You’ll need to convert FOLO Points to withdrawable FOLO Balance first. As of 3 Dec 2024, 1 FOLO Balance is equivalent to 10 FOLO Points. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for more details.

3. How long does it take to convert FOLO Points to FOLO Balance?

• It typically takes about a week.

4. Are there any fees associated with converting FOLO Points to FOLO Balance?

• There are no conversion fees. However, there are withdrawal fees if you wish to cash out your FOLO Balance, depending on the network you chose.

5. What are the Terms and Conditions (T&C) for withdrawing FOLO Balance?

• You must withdraw a minimum of 3,000 per transaction, and a maximum of 10,000 per month. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for more details.

6. How do I monetise my portfolio? 

• Set a subscription fee and link an autocopyable portfolio. Share insights and analysis with paying subscribers, and start earning!

7. How do I purchase and deposit FOLO Tokens?

• Login to your MetaMask wallet to buy FOLO on Ethereum Mainnet or FOLO(PoS) on Polygon. Ethereum offers a wider network but with higher fees, while Polygon provides faster transactions at lower fees. As of 4 Sep 2024, POL has replaced MATIC as the native gas and staking token for Polygon PoS. Both MATIC and POL refer to the same thing.

9. Is there a limit to how many FOLO Points I can earn?

• Nope. Whilst some activities have a set amount of FOLO Points you can earn (i.e., Profile Completion tasks and Daily Engagement tasks), how much you earn as a lead trader is entirely up to you. You set your own subscription fee!
